On Friday 2 March the department’s systems will unavailable due to planned system maintenance. Access to ImmiAccount and online visa and citizenship applications will not be available during this time.
The Americas Service centre will not be able to provide status updates on your application during this time. The Americas Service Centre (ASC), based in Ottawa, provides client contact support for the Department of Home Affairs offices in the Americas region. This includes North America (Canada and USA), South and Central America and the Caribbean. The service is provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

Once your application has been finalised you can access your visa details and entitlements by using the online service for Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO). You can also send your entitlement details to any email address you like.
If you cannot find your departmental reference number or you no longer have your visa grant notification you can request this information by completing the Request for reference number form and your reference number will be emailed to you.
IMPORTANT: You should not book flights or make travel commitments until you have a visa to travel to Australia. The department will not be liable for any financial loss incurred by clients whose visa application was finalised later than expected or where an application is unsuccessful.
