Processing times are impacted by seasonal peaks. During the holiday season you can expect longer processing times as a result of the volume of applications received.
On Friday 2 March the department’s systems will unavailable due to planned system maintenance. Access to ImmiAccount and online visa and citizenship applications will not be available during this time.
The Americas Service centre will not be able to provide status updates on your application during this time. We invite you to check the status of your application after the outage using your ImmiAccount on 3 March. You can monitor the department’s website for further updates at www.homeaffairs.gov.au.
