What's New

COVID-19 and the border

Find up to date information on Australia’s COVID-19 immigration and border arrangements on the Department of Home Affairs' website.

Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)

At this time you cannot apply for an ETA online through the ETA website or ImmiAccount.  Travel agents or airlines are also not able to process ETA applications at this time.  To apply you must  lodge the application via the ETA app which you can download for free from the Apple Store (Apple) or Google Play store (Android).

You can apply for an ETA through the app if:

·         you meet all ETA eligibility requirements and

·         you hold a passport from an eligible country.

ETA Referrals

If your ETA has not been successful please refer to the ETA Referral instructions provided in the email sent to you and complete the Request for Further Processing form.
